Raj began learning music at the age of 9. His journey is rooted in discipline and devotion, shaped by great maestros of the Patiala Gharana and the ethos of the Guru–Shishya Parampara. This foundation reflects deeply in both his teaching and singing style.
Over the years, he has trained numerous students across India and abroad, many of whom have become confident performers. He’s especially passionate about teaching children and has developed a unique, joyful pattern of instruction—introducing classical concepts through poems, rhymes, and light music so beginners are not overwhelmed.
He pays special attention to voice production and vocal development, ensuring every child builds a strong foundation. His patience and child-friendly methods make him one of the most loved teachers among young learners.
